Jane Akshar has been documenting the continued degradation of some parts of the Temple of Seti I, and today has posted images of the latest bad news - a piece of decoration has crumbled away and now lies in pieces at the foot of the monument. It is quite heartbroken. When I walked into the tombs of several pharaohs, I tried hard to breathe less, I wanted to see but at the same time I did not want to destroy.
