I've changed the template for this site, but that is the only thing that has changed - the blog still has the same content and will continue to be updated as usual. Sorry if all the experimentation today caused any problems. I'm still not happy with the result and I'll eventually get around to designing my own template, but it will have to do for the time being.Kind regards

Thank you all very much. I've been updaging Tony Cagle's ArchaeoBlog whilst he is on holiday, and I realized that I had become so used to the way my blog worked that I had not stopped to look at whether it was particularly nice to visit. I've used some of Tony's ideas to try to improve matters, but I am aware that there could be further improvements.
I've had so many negative comments about the quality of my profile photo that I've taken it away - it was, anyway, four years old and my hair is much, much longer!
