Luxor Egyptology

Luxor Egyptology
Stan Kurowski has emailed the membership of Luxor Egyptology to let them know that the website supporting the group has nearly been completed.

The group's second newsletter has also come out today, with photographs of the new Heritage Centre and the newly developed east side of Luxor Temple, which consists of a large paved area. Stan also says that the Qurna Discovery centre, which features a number of exhibits including information about the relocation of the occupants of Qurna to new homes, has been relocated near the tomb of Nakht and will re-open shortly.

Luxor Egyptology is introduced on their website as follows:
Luxor Egyptology is the only site dedicated to Egyptology in the Luxor area, and is the website of the Luxor Egyptology Society. Its main purpose is to bring together those residents and visitors who are interested in Egyptology. We will do this by holding regular meetings in and around Luxor, providing a monthly newsletter, as well as the information on this site.

We will also provide as much information as possible on the monuments and tombs, and the latest news about the new developments in the Luxor area.

We also hope to have articles by and interviews with archaelogists working in the Luxor area.
Wishing them all the best for a very successful future!
