More re Bonhams revival sale

Trade Arabia

Bonhams, the international fine art auction house, will be holding 'The Egyptian Revival Sale' on January 23, 2008 in London - an auction of works of art inspired by Ancient Egypt, which will coincide with the Tutankhamun Exhibition at the O2 Dome.

The event will include a short talk by Lord and Lady Carnarvon. Lord Carnarvon is the great grandson of the fifth Earl who funded Howard Carter's exploration, which led to the great discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb.

See the above page for full details. I also posted about this auction in November. The auction will take place at Bonhams in London (New Bond Street), and will start at 10.30. There are highlights of the exhibition on the Bonhams website - and it seems amazing to me how much some of these items are expected to sell for!
