Review: Mummies - Secrets of the Pharaohs

Oak Park Newspaper (Ed Vincent)

I haven't seen the documentary film that is being reviewed, but although the author of this brief review compliments various aspects of the documentary, he takes real issue with the treatment of the Exodus, which he says is presented as a fact rather than, as Hawass has stated in the past, a myth.

I have been going to the IMAX at the Museum of Science and Industry for decades and the films though short are generally grand in their visual impressions and mostly have a reasonable, if not educational script. "Mummies: Secrets of the Pharaohs" is the most offensive creation against science, perhaps since the trial of Galileo.

See the above page for the rest of the review.
