Tourism: Number of French visitors to Egypt rises

The number of French tourists visiting Egypt during the first quarter of 2007 reached around 462,000 at an increase of 23 percent compared to the same period in 2006.

Egyptian tourist attaché in Paris Nahed Rezq said the French tourists to Egypt in 2007 spend more than four million nights at an increase of 26.7 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
