Tutankhamun Day at the Petrie, London, U.K.

Thanks to Lucia Gahlin for the news that on the 31st May 2008 the Friends of the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology will be hosting a conference to celebrate is 20th anniversary:

TUTANKHAMUN: THE MAKING OF A LEGEND, Saturday 31 May 2008, 10.00 17.00, The UCL Bloomsbury Theatre, University College London.

The main speaker, David Silverman, is curator of Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of Pharaohs, currently on display at the O2 Bubble in Greenwich, London.

Conference tickets cost £30.00 (ukp) which include morning coffee, afternoon tea, and a glass of wine after the event (lunch will be available for purchase in the Refectory and other locations in UCL).
