Recent photographs have drifted away from mainstream Egyptology, so for the next few days I'll be posting some more familiar sights. I may even take a deep breath and start digitizing some of the photographs currently stored exclusively as prints in albums.
These show a random set of blocks collected from around Karnak and stored outside in the Karnak Open Air Museum. I love the clarity of the hieroglyphs.
This blog was set up in 2004 to aggregate news about Egyptology and related topics from online sources on a regular basis. It was closed finally in September 2013 due to other commitments. It has been left open as an archive, but comments have been disabled.
Kindest regards to all Andie andie {at} oddthing.co.uk
