Daily Photo - Tomb of Amunherkhepshef

The tomb of one of the sons of Ramesses III was originally built to house another of the princes. It is located in the Valley of the Queens and is both delicate and full of fabulous colours. Sadly, these two photographs do it very little justice but hopefully it will give those of you who haven't had the opportunity to visit the tomb an idea of what it is like. The walls are behind protective glass panels (or were when I was last there some 10 years ago), and the reflection of the lighting made it very difficult to photograph. Details of the tomb can be found on the Tour Egypt website.
