Photoshop available on the web

Photoshop Express

This may seem like a peculiar post for this particular blog, but the fact of the matter is that there are very few vistitors to Egypt who don't take photos. For a growing number of us with digital cameras there is often a desire and the opportunity to store and edit photos from hotels or internet cafes for blogs, emails home or just safe storage. Photoshop Express is a quick and easy way of editing images via a web interface wherever you happen to be.

It is still in beta testing but you can sign up now to use it (with 2Gb photos free of charge on the site - not bad!). You will need to register, but it is very straight forward, and this lets youlog on quickly in the future. But you will need to check the U.S. option for your country of residence because no other options are available at present!

The service allows you to arrange your photographs into different albums and to edit them with some really useful editing functionality.

The application hooks into other online services which people use for storing and sharing images including Facebook and Picasa.

There are other image editing and sharing applications online and I may do a feature to cover them in the future, if this seems to be something that would interest people.
