Free Download E-Book: Egyptian Towns and Cities UPDATED

Thanks to everyone for the comments.

I emailed Shire Books and they confirmed that the PDF version of the book, by Eric Uphill, is indeed illegal. I have therefore removed the links from this post as requested by Shire.

Here's the email that they sent me, for your reference:

Dear Andie,

Thank you for letting us know about this. You are right that it is illegal, and I would be grateful if you could remove the link. We will investigate this matter.

Best regards,

Nick Wright,
Publisher
Shire Publications Ltd.

Cheers to all, thanks to "Anonymous" for raising the issue and many thanks to Shire Publications for being understanding.
Andie

My browser gave a malware warning on the page behind the link NET BOOKS. It killed my interest this free E-book (legal or not).

Kept saying I had to wait since I did not opt for expensive membership, and then nothing happened. No download.

It worked fine for me; if you want me to email the PDF to you, please send me an email addy that will accept a largish attachment. No virus, BTW, or other problems, it just took a while.

In response to all of the above comments

a) I had no problem downloading it. It took over 30 seconds before it began to download. I didn't save the PDF as I own the book, but it seemed to work fine.

b) My laptop has every type of defence that I can install on it and I received no Malware notification. But I don't know the Net Books or Rapidshare websites and I would always advise that if you are in doubt and concerned for the security of your machine it is risky to download material from sites that you don't know and trust.

c) It seems somewhat unlikely that the book is legal so I have emailed the publishers to notify them of the book's availability on the above sites and to ask for their advice.

Kind regards
Andie
