AERA Blog for Giza Plateau Mapping Project

http://aerablog.wordpress.com

Thanks to Brian Hunt for the information that he is going to be maintaining a dig blog for AERA’s Giza Plateau Mapping Project this season. There's a link to the blog from the AERA (Ancient Egypt Research Association) home page, or you can go to it directly at the above address. The bloggers will be Joint Field Directors Mohsen Kamel and Ana Tavares, and Director of Archaeological Science, Dr. Mary Anne Murray.

The first post was dated yesterday and is entitled Ready to dig at Giza, which introduces the new season and the work that is being planned.

It is great to see another blog detailing archaeological work in Egypt.
