Paul Barford has a small rant about the new rules re photography in the Valley of the Kings, explains why he cannot post some of the 1000s of photographs he took whilst he was in Egypt and suggests a good viewpoint for photographing the mortuary temple of Ramesses II at sundown from a distance. He wasn't impressed by the experience of visiting the temple itself and recommends Seti I instead. Finally he wraps up with a comment about resource management at the temple of Hatshepsut. He includes some photographs in the piece.
