I am so very sorry to have to tell you that Bob Partridge, editor of Ancient Egypt Magazine, lovely man and good friend has lost his battle with cancer. The world will be a much less bright and colourful place without him. My sincere condolences to his friends and family, and much love to Bob himself.

Really sad news. Took me by surprise. He showed so much love for ancient Egypt. True of voice.
ReplyDeleteTerribly sad news! I knew he was ill but this is still a real shock. I will always now regret not doing one of his tours as he was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about ancient Egypt. Daveh
