A few metres away from Tahrir Square, where protesters are gathering for the eighth day, calling for Egypt's military rulers to hand over power to civilian leaders, tourists are still flocking to Cairo Museum despite the recent unrest.
The museum remains open and tourists from around the world are continuing to visit. Maryoun Etche, a tourist from Germany said she was not afraid of being in Cairo.
