"Researcher Dr Ryan Metcalf told BBC News: 'Ancient Egyptians' medicine was remarkably advanced for its time. A lot of things they used we still use today. They certainly had some quite advanced herbal medicines and probably knew about cannabis as well for pain relief.'
Dr Metcalf said the Egyptians used natural remedies, such as chewing willow bark - which contains properties similar to aspirin - and honey on open wounds to kill bacteria.
The focus of the project will be trying to find out where they got their ideas from."

Dear Andie
Not sure sure if you are at home or at your parents. Thought you were at home so told Edgar to send flowers there. If not, can you e-mail himail to let him or me know your whereabouts so you can be in to collect said flowers.
Also, it appears that your Faiyum site is down.
If you are up to it I am giving a lecture next Thursday of the Neolithic of the Delta and how it fits into the North African context.
Regards
Tass
P.S.
Thought this the quickest way to get your attention.
