Daily Photo: Abusir

As there is a post today dealing exclusively with the work of the Czech team at Abusir, I thought it would be nice to add a few photographs of Abusir. Unfortunately, my only visit there was just as the sun was vanishing, so these photos are really somewhat gloomy. But they're all I've got, so here they are (scanned from prints). Nice, Andie: egyptian ruins are more wonderful at sunrise or sunset. Better at sunrise....

Hello Pier, nice to hear from you again! Yes, I agree about photos being great at sunrise and sunset. I've got some nice ones of Luxor and Karnak at sunrise, which were worth the 4am wake up call to get :-)
