Bowers Museum Mummy Scans

"A team of radiologists and curators will conduct computed tomography (CT) scans of six ancient Egyptian mummies from the renowned collections of the British Museum. The mummies are the focus of the Bowers’ upcoming landmark exhibition, Mummies: Death and the Afterlife in Ancient Egypt, which opens April 17, 2005". See the article for more information.

I wouldn't think you would want to post this comment.

Is this the same museum that was mentioned on The Today Show on 4/6/2005? What was the name and title of the individual that was on The Today Show, as I did not catch the name. What is the mailing address of this individual so that I may write a letter to this person?

I appreciate your consideration in answering my questions. Thank you very much and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely yours,

Linda Caldwell

Hi Linda

I really don't know whether it was the same museum that was mentioned on the Today Show, not having seen the show. If you want to write to the people analysing the mummy, the article would suggest that the curators of the Department of Ancient Egypt and Sudan at the British Museum in London would be your best bet - they may be able to forward your question to the appropriate authority: The British Museum, Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3DG
