Pyramid construction theories

Two new theories about how the Giza pyramids may have been constructed have hit my Inbox this week.

Marwan Gharzeddine emailed me with the URL of her website The Method of Construction of the Pyramids in Egypt, which proposes one theory (dated 2004, but I hadn't seen mention of it before). Here's the abstract:

The Ancient Egyptians built some of the best pyramids in the world. How they lifted the massive stone to the various heights has been a mystery as old as the pyramids themselves. In this paper, a method of construction is proposed which the Ancient Egyptians could have employed. This method does not utilize workers to build and operate any kind of lever/machines, nor does it utilize workers to build ramps. It is also not associated with any flying or aerial machines of any kind. Instead, a method is proposed where natural wind power is used to facilitate the placement of the stones in their locations on the pyramid.
Another theory has been announced on PRWeb (to find out any details about the theory you have to download a free e-book, which I haven't done, so I can't give you much help about what it claims)
Texas "Mega-mover" (Heavy lift consultant) provides an explanation for construction, rock movements, and development of the Great Pyramid from top to bottom with all questions answered. Common myths, legends, and lore concerning Khufu/Cheops Pyramid of Egypt are debunked by simple, straight forward look at the real evidence at hand. By addressing the project as if it can be done with assets and resources on the site, while applying a little conventional wisdom, a research team solves several mysteries. . . .

Environmental shifts on/near the site play a powerful role in understanding "warming" trends believed to exist in our environment today (Global warming?). Within upcoming volumes Whidden will reveal some incredible 3-D models at no cost to demonstrate with electronic modeling how the changes affected technology and shifts in science of the time.

The book, by Captain Theodore L. (Ted) Whidden, is released at the website http://www.solomonseries.com/ under the name, The Solomon Series: Great Pyramid Mystery Resolved.

Andie!
I have downloaded Whidden's book from the website, and his findings are AMAZING! The concept he shares is seamless (albeit a bit long winded). Whidden addresses countless theories of the past and as he says, "fleshes out" the old theories by applying a form of CSI-type forsensic research on site...........There is so much evidence, fotos, data. It is well worth the read!
Thanks for turning me on to Whidden's Team work at www.solomonseries.com
