For anyone in a position to make a last mad dash to the exhibition in Philadelphia, the Franklin Institute has changed its opening hours for the final weekend, to meet an anticipated last-minute influx. The new opening hours will be in place from Friday 28th September to Sunday 30th September, when the exhibition closes.
The King Tut exhibit at Philadelphia's Franklin Institute is to be open around the clock on its final weekend.
The exhibit is to open at 8:30 a.m. a week from Friday and stay open till 11 p.m. the following Sunday.
The Franklin Institute says it's doing this to accommodate increasing demand during the final weeks of the exhibit, called "Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs."
The Franklin Institute has added a real-time counter to its Tutankhamun Ticket page for visitors who want to watch the countdown to 1,300,001 visitors.
