Unfortunately I don't speak a word of any other Germanic language, which is a major disadvantage for many reasons - including that fact that all Germanic articles are excluded from this blog. Normally I don't post items that I haven't been able to check myself, but this one was recommended by Ingeborg Waanders who has recommended many excellent sources, and I trust his judgement. It is a documentary video, featuring lots of modern footage of the the Nile Valley and relevant artefacts, together with acted scenes recreating moments from the past. I enjoyed watching it without understanding more than one word in five! It opens automatically in Windows Media Player.
