The Old Kingdom necropolis of Qila el Dabba in Dakhleh Oasis near Balat, once associated with the town of Ain Asil. The necropolis contained the burials of the oasis governors. The last two photographs show the excavated mastaba of Khentika, a Sixth Dynasty governor.
